61 pp. First edition, first printing. Unglazed, matte paper covered boards, with pages bound in single-signature, Near Fine, with light touches of rubbing at the tips. In a Very Good+ first issue dust jacket, with publisher's price of 200/200 intact, with light edge wear, light rubbing at the spine ends, a short closed tear to the bottom of the rear panel, and a small patch of wear to the front cover right of the title which looks like it was rubbed with an erasure. A rather lovely example--a sharp and bright copy in a very nice first issue dust jacket. Seuss wrote the landmark children's book using only 220 different words, a challenge and limitation set at the behest of his publisher. Item #180715021
