Warmly inscribed on page facing title page to Buk's lawyer: "For Arthur Applebaum - A dear man, who watches over me. Hope you find some readability in these early works. [signed] Charles Bukowski [with little cartoon of Buk and a wine jug]. Additionally signed on the serigraph print and dated 2-13-88. Rear limitation page signed as well; holograph notation in red "Presentation Copy," underneath that is a signature and another self-caricature next to a dog. Paper covered boards with color cloth backstrip. Near Fine in original clear acetate wraps. Lightly worn along bottom edge, a bit of sunning along top edge and to spine label. Acetate jacket lightly scratched. An excellent presentation copy from the L.A. poet to a close associate in his later years.
