An issue of Collier's magazine that includes the short story "I'm Crazy" by J.D. Salinger, which is the first appearance of legendary protagonist Holden Caulfield in print. Salinger would not allow this story, which is an early version of the first two chapters of Catcher in the Rye, to be reprinted.
