A nice signed copy of the Locus Award-winning science fiction novel set in a futuristic Portland, Oregon. Le Guin was heavily involved with the 1980 film adaptation, which was widely praised for its intelligence, though the budget was small enough for alien space ships to be represented by Frisbees. "The directors understood the story and the actors did a beautiful job," Le Guin later wrote.
