Very Good+ with foxing and a few small stains to cloth, slight lean. Lacking dust jacket. An uncommon English translation of The Handbook of Hitler Youth, apparently penned by Fritz Brennecke (although uncredited) for the indoctrination of the Nazi Party's youth organization-- seven million strong at the time of publication. It was published in the lead-up to WWII to elucidate Nazi concepts of race (based on eugenics, skull shapes, and Mendelian heredity), politics (fascism, antisemitism, anti-masonry, and anticommunism) and lebensraum ( or "living space," the belief in a new German empire incorporating large swaths of the globe) to Americans, who were still overwhelmingly reluctant to enter into another war after WWI. It remains one of the best summaries of official Nazi propaganda pre-WWII.
