A complete run of the journal Cryptozoology and its companion, The ISC Newsletter, both publications of International Society of Crytozoology, which studied reports of animals either not officially recognized by science or considered extinct. Both were edited by J. Richard Greenwell. Vols. 1-12 of Crytozoology in a yearly digest format (slightly larger), and 12 volumes (in 46 individual issues) of The ISC Newsletter in 8.5 x 11" format. Some of the Iater issues of the latter appear to be reprints. Very Good overall; labels on rear wraps. Staining to front wrap of first volume of Cryptozoology; issues of that journal has slightly sunned spines. Ink stains and postal stamps to Vol. 1 No. 2 of The ISC Newsletter. Three pieces of ephemera included from the ISC: an invitation for charter membership, a signed letter from the editor announcing upcoming publication of the first issue of Cryptozoology, and another signed letter from the editor telling the recipient he had not renewed his membership (tsk tsk). A great resource for cryptozoologists and fans of the Fortean; the more academic side of the discipline.
