Former owner's bookplate and name dated 1937 at front free endpaper; some underlining and tick marks, isolated mostly to early pages, in pencil and ink. In a Very Good+ unclipped dust jacket with fading to spine, light chipping to crown with a few closed tears to edges; writing in pencil at the top edge of the rear flap. A landmark anthology that defined the Harlem Renaissance and elevated poets like Langston Hughes and Georgia Douglas Johnson to a serious literary status.
