The novelization of the classic American monster horror film directed by Jack Arnold starring Richard Carlson as the Gill-man. John Russell Fearn was a prolific British sci-fi and crime novelist, first appearing in American sci-fi pulps and later as stand-alone novels under various nom de plumes.
