First edition. Signed by Joe Brainard on the title page and inscribed "For Jack [Brusca] with love and luck[,] Joe." [19] pp. Side-stapled mimeographed sheets, printed on rectos only. Near Fine with light toning, slight rubbing and soiling to covers; abrasion to front cover and creasing to rear. The New York School giant's collection of banana themed musings, inscribed warmly to a fellow gay artist, Jack Brusca. Brusca, a student of The School of Visual Arts, rose to fame after a solo exhibition in 1969 at the Bonino Galleria. He was welcomed amongst fringe art circuits and club scenes of New York and critically praised for his oft-erotic airbrushed paintings. Both men would later die of AIDS-related complications in the early 90's; uncommon signed.
