First edition. Signed by Joe Brainard on the title page and inscribed to fellow artist Jack Brusca, "For Jack with future love too, Joe." Bound in publisher's stapled wraps. Near Fine with faint rubbing to wraps and light spot of soiling to upper corner of front cover. The New York School poet and artist's collection of invented overheard snippets of dialogue. Brusca, a student of The School of Visual Arts, rose to fame after a solo exhibition in 1969 at the Bonino Galleria. He was welcomed amongst fringe artistic circuits/club scenes of New York and critically praised for his oft-erotic airbrushed paintings. Both men would later die of AIDS-related complications in the early 90's. Uncommon signed.
