The Welsh poet's radio play that takes place in a fictional, decaying Welsh fishing village called Llareggub, an anagram for "bugger all". Set over a 24-hour pub crawl, Thomas evokes an unconventional narrative amongst his character's inner dialogues and dreams. Commissioned by the BBC and first performed in May 1953, Thomas himself read several roles just months before his death. It has since been performed many times, most notably by Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins and Catherine Zeta Jones. Item #140948855
