8.5 x 14", single-sided handbill. Very Good with three horizontal crease marks, light creasing to edges and faint toning. A scarce handbill inviting the recipient to the home of the chairman of the Black Panther Party, Bobby Seale. It promotes an upcoming conference for the United Front Against Fascism, or UFAF that was to be held July 18-20, 1969. Attendees could purchase a barbecue dinner for $4.00 (the equivalent of about $35.00 in today's money) to raise funds for the anti-fascist conference that would ultimately draw a crowd of over 5,000 protestors. Seale would play host to numerous BBQ fundraisers over the years and eventually penned a cookbook Barbeque'n with Bobby. Item #140948721
