[4], 210 pp. Bound in patterned textured paper lettered in black over pale gray spine cloth lettered in dark gray, flexible boards, masthead printed on front endpapers. Near Fine with light wear and toning to covers, light toning to contents, and stamped number to back pastedown. An uncommon first edition with a rare signature.

During Marie Curie's twenty-five years directing the Radium Institute in Paris, the Nobel Laureate published numerous papers and books. This overview of radiochemistry, charmingly inscribed to posterity, was her last book. Item #140948597
