First edition, first printing. Signed by Charles Beaumont on the front free endpaper. 234 pp. Bound in publisher's gray cloth-affect paper-covered boards with blue and white lettering to spine. Near Fine with light rubbing to extremities; binding square and firm. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light wear and scattered small abrasions to rear panel, much nicer than usually found.
A lovely signed copy of the author's first book. Beaumont was much admired by his contemporaries for his short fiction and Twilight Zone scripts, and died tragically young from what may have been early-onset Alzheimer's. His signature is uncommon.
