First edition, first printing. A presentation copy signed by Clark Ashton Smith on the front free endpaper and inscribed to Golden Atom fanzine editors, "For Letterio and Duverne Farsace [formerly Forsaci], with best regards and compliments of Clark Ashton Smith Pacific Grove, Cali., Aug. 15h, 1958." Bound in publisher's black cloth with spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with slight lean to binding, minor stain to top textblock edge and two small stains for fore edge. In a Fine unclipped dust jacket with light tanning. A lovely association copy of Smith's second collection of poetry published by Arkham House, inscribed to husband and wife book collectors, early sci-fi fans and fanzine publishers. Both were prominent Rochester, NY poets, Duverne being the daughter of poet and writer Vera Bishop Konrick who was published in August Derleth's 1961 Arhkham House anthology Fire and Sleet and Candlelight.
