Housed in a dark blue cloth slipcase with light soiling and rubbing. David Ben-Gurion is regarded as the founding father of Israel. He delivered the country's declaration of independence in 1948 and served as its first Prime Minister. He retired from politics in 1970 and wrote this memoir in Sde-Boqer, a kibbutz in the Negev.
