Signed by Garrison on map front free endpaper in black ink (situating his signature inside the County Records Building). xvi, 342 pp. Bound in publisher's salmon paper-covered boards over black spine cloth lettered in gilt. Good with slightly bowed boards, foxing to upper edge of textblock, and waterstaining to lower board and textblock edges with ink run to lower margins of front endpaper and first 20 pages. In a Very Good dust jacket with soiling, light toning and edgewear, and several small waterstains along lower edge. "Autographed Copy" sticker to front panel. The former New Orleans District Attorney's final work, a memoir of his controversial investigation into the murder of President Kennedy and eventual prosecution of Clay Shaw. It was made into the popular Oliver Stone film JFK not too long before he died. Rarely found signed due to Garrison's poor health in his final years.
