Juan Rulfo established his position as one of Mexico's greatest writers with just two works of fiction published in the 1950s, the short story collection El Llano en llamas and the novel Pedro Paramo. The latter, the story of a strongman who keeps a small town in his grip, inspired the "Latin American Boom" authors and has sold millions of copies in over thirty languages since its initial publication in 1955. This special edition, printed in a run of 3,000 copies, was revised by the author and illustrated by his son. Item #140947419
