Near Fine with heavy foxing to text block edges and margins throughout, light foxing to verso of plates, and marginal chip to lower corner of pp. 65/66; binding strong and square. In scarce Near Fine dust jacket with toning to spine and upper edge, light shelfwear, tear to rear flap, and creasing and short tears to front panel repaired with Japanese paper on verso. The true first edition of the novel colloquially known as Peter Pan, which inspired the classic Disney animated film.
