Burgundy pebbled cloth lettered in gilt. Near Fine with fading to spines, rubbing to corners and heads and tails of spines, and indentations to Volume I spine and Volume II board edges. Dust-soiling to text block edges, Volume I front hinge starting, evenly toned throughout. Binding firm. A nice copy of the 19th Century Russian literary masterpiece. Ends with the spurious conclusion of Zakharchenko.
