Limited edition, from an edition of thirty-five copies reserved for distribution by the artist. This is Moser's own copy, with his bookplate inside the front cover, and with four additional proofs, each titled, signed by him and dated in pencil. Contains ten wood engravings by Moser and six epigrams from the Anthologia Graeca translated by D.L. Graham, along with a list of plates. The six epigrams, in Greek and English, are printed with type ornaments in red, yellow, and olive. This is the first Pennyroyal book to use wood engravings.

Bound in publisher's blue sewn wrappers with title blindstamped on the front cover. Very Good with sunning to spine and half the front cover, soiling and light edge wear to wraps. Edge wear to additional prints. Laid in is a one page typed letter from Wellesley College Library dated November 17, 1976 signed by Leslie Perrin Wilson, Assistant in Special Collections.

This was the first Pennyroyal Press book to use wood engravings and was done as a project for the graduate course of printmaking at the University of Massachusetts, taught by printmaker Fred Becker.
