May 19, 1950." xviii, 126 pp. Bound in publisher's teal cloth lettered in silver. Very Good+ with light wear at corners and spine ends, minor foxing to joints with faint toning to edges. Slight offsetting at endsheets with modest toning to contents. In a Very Good price-clipped dust jacket as issued with publisher's rubber stamp of "$2.00" on front flap, here either mis-stamped or partially clipped again. Light wear, creasing and chipping to edges and ends with tape repair to verso. Number 81 of Cyril Conolly's 100 key books of the Modern Movement. Provenance of Janet Sweet Sanborn, an attorney in New York, perhaps the author's legal counsel. Her Collected Poems would win the National Book Award for Poetry in 1952.
