Good+ with traces of erased pencil writing on wraps, small pen mark to front wrap as well; toning, soiling and light wear throughout. The San Francisco street poet's rare first book. He's often identified with the Beats but his raw, unaffected style is closer to Charles Bukowski (and his late '60s/early '70s school of the mimeo Meat Poets) than them. Features an introduction by Jack Kerouac likely written during the height of his fame for On the Road.
