The very first issue of the long-running American poetry magazine. Vol. 1 No. 1, published in October 1912. 32, [2] pp. Bound in publisher's wraps. Near Fine with small closed tear to front wrap, light soiling and wear to yapped edges, slight roll to spine. A very nice copy. Founding editor Harriet Monroe would publish Poetry until her death in 1937; it continues to this day. This issue features work by modernist firebrand Ezra Pound.
