[New York?].
circa 1969-1971. Silk-screen poster, 17" x 22, thin fragile yellow paper printed in red and blue. Near Fine with minor wear on bottom edge. The Panther 21 was a group of twenty-one Black Panther members who were arrested and accused of planned coordinated bombing and long-range rifle attacks on two police stations and an education office in New York City in 1969, who were all acquitted by a jury in May 1971, after revelations during the trial that police infiltrators played key organizing roles. A very scarce poster with none traced in a recent OCLC search, though two holdings list a smaller poster with the same title with the credit line of the Committee to Defend the Panthers.
