First edition, first printing. Publisher's original brown cloth binding stamped in blind, with titles in gilt on upper board. Good. Binding cocked and little tender. Cloth rubbed through at edges, with loss to spine at ends and bottom rear joint. Light but large staining to first several pages. Pages toned, sporadically foxed and soiled. The first printing of the important slave narrative and treatise on abolition, scarce in the original cloth. Item #140939297
