Very Good overall with staining and a few patches of rubbing to front cover, light edge wear, internally near fine with front tissue guard intact, clean and bright pages. A very sturdy, presentable copy; rare in such nice shape. An illustrated compendium of what Victorian morality deemed "vice," spanning from con artistry to stock and banking fraud, lotteries, pornography, and quackery.
