Founding father Dr. Benjamin Rush's psychology textbook, one of the first American books to classify mental illnesses and offer remedies. These illnesses were broadly grouped herein into Hypochondriasis, Amenomania, Mania, Manicula, Manalgia, Demence or Dissociation, Fatuity, various sleep related problems, Reverie or Absence of Mind, experiencing Illusions or the Morbid State of the Sexual Apetite, and Derangements of the Will, Faith, Passions, Moral Faculties, and Memory. Many of Rush's observations and recommendations were way ahead of their time, and today his portrait graces the seal of the American Psychiatric Association. Item #180608002
