Cloth rubbed and faded, spine creased and worn at the ends. Lean to binding. Front inner hinge exposed and tender. Previous owner details to verso of front free end paper. Pinocchio first appeared serialized in an Italian children's magazine which ran from 1881-1883, and in book form in 1883.
