New York: The Viking Press, 1963.
First edition. 275 pp. Tan cloth with red and black lettering. Near Fine in Near Fine unclipped dust jacket, slightly chipped at head and toned just a bit along fore edge. A few small spots of foxing to fore edge and slight offsetting to endpapers. The phrase "the banality of evil" entered American culture with this work. It is a still-controversial examination of individual culpability in bureaucracy that focused on escaped Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann. Item #170216013
