First edition. Inscribed by Man Ray on the dedication page to former owners in blue ink, dated April 2, 1963. 402 p. Black cloth with gilt and brownish red lettering. Very Good in Near Fine supplied dust jacket. Lettering rubbed, wear at bottom tips, cloth a bit scuffed and dust soiled. Top edge faded with a few small droplet stains. Small faint letter "H" written on back panel of jacket, a few small stains visible on verso but generally bright and unclipped. A nice signed copy of the American visual artist's autobiography.
