First edition in first issue dust jacket with wide flaps and price of 16s intact. Original black cloth with gilt lettering. 196 p. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. Previous owner's name stamped on fep. Jacket presents well although a bit worn, very little fading, three small tape repairs to bottom verso, verso and back flap have some faint stains, sticker shadow to price, small ink marks to front flap. The sought-after first UK appearance of the book that inspired the Kubrick film, with a final chapter cut from its later US edition. Item #151208001
