With original illustrations by John Tenniel re-engraved by Frederic Warde and Bruno Rollitz. [xvii], [213], [1]pp. Bound in publisher's full leather heavily decorated in gilt, all edges gilt. Near Fine with gilt to spine a bit dulled, light wear to spine ends, small abrasion to front board. A lovely copy, housed in the publisher's red cloth slipcase, lightly faded and lightly worn.
