Very Good+ with light soiling and moderate wear to covers, small stain to outer margins of two leaves; hinges tender.
Memoirs of the founder of the Christian Science movement, published at the dawn of her third phase: the consolidation of her church and the establishment of herself as a world spiritual leader. Signatures from Eddy are rare.
