A scarce biography of the final 14 years of Christopher Columbus's exploits at sea, after his discovery of America in 1492. The follow-up to the author's 1891 book With the Admiral of the Ocean Sea, based on Columbus's journals as well as contemporary accounts. Interestingly, this cataloguer found the periodical The Dial critiquing the author for asserting that Columbus was the first European to visit the Americas (when Vikings had done so centuries earlier) all the way back in 1891.
