Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket, chipped at spine ends, crease to front panel, faint dampstain to spine panel visible on verso. Uncommon in jacket. A classic history of utopian ideas. The author was an Italian-born anarchist who passed away in the UK at only 31, a year before this work was published. It was brought back into print in 2019 by radical publisher PM Press who wrote of it: "Journey through Utopia is a richly detailed and critically compelling examination of utopian literature, beginning with Plato’s Republic and continuing through to Huxley’s Brave New World. Utopias have been penned with diverse intentions: some as pictures of an ideal society, some as blueprints for action, yet others, especially in times of severe censorship, as covert criticisms of existing conditions.
