Allegedly seduced by a space woman at age 10, for years Menger was one of the most publicity-savvy UFO contactees, becoming involved with Frank Stranges and the mysterious " space alien" referred to as Val Thor. After dropping out of the UFO circuit Menger would claim that he and his fellow contactees had been used by the American government as part of some sort of disinformation campaign.
