This copy inscribed "On behalf of the fabulous city of MISCOKIE [sic], OKLAHOMA[,] I offer you the Key to the city of Bill Knott (1940-1966)." This is clearly a reference to the popular 1969 hit song "Okie from Muskogee" by Merle Haggard, the quintessential anti-hippie country song. Unpaginated.
