Very Good or better with light staining to cloth visible in raking light as well as staining to the bottom corner of the rear cover. Three small areas of abrasion to front and rear endsheets and very light marking in text. Thoughts on the proposed unification of the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Methodist Episcopal Church, South and the foul treatment of African American members. The author was a pastor in Baltimore, MD, and on account of civil rights leader Booker T. Washington's recommendation of Lyon to President Theodore Roosevelt, Lyon served as the United States Ambassador to Liberia. Item #140943077
