No. 330 of an edition limited to 400 copies. Oblong linen boards with brown ribbon ties, with lettering stamped in black. A Near Fine copy with a little toning to cloth, faint scuff to front cover and light rubbing to black stamping. Signed by artist Martin Puryear at the colophon, who provided 10 woodcuts. Toomer's novel, considered one of the major works of Harlem Renaissance literature, was first published in 1923. This is the fifty-ninth publication of the Arion Press, and designed by Andrew Hoyem.
