Very Good with rubbing to spine, cloth a little stained and toned. A collection of adventure stories that originally appeared in Youth's Companion, many designed for a family audience, not just young adults. Thomson (1849-1924) was a Canadian author who moved to Boston in 1891 and stayed for ten years, ghostwriting many stories in the magazine under pseudonyms; his signature is uncommon. Item #140941611
