Spine rolled, corners bumped, cloth lightly spotted, light foxing to textblock edge and endsheets. In a Very Good+ unclipped dust jacket with a small chip at the top of the rear spine joint, light rubbing, faint pencil check-mark to spine and foxing to blindside. The author was also a cartoonist who had an affair with the mother of cartoonist Bill Griffith, creator of Zippy the Pinhead. His two amateur sleuth protagonists are cartoonists as well.
