In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light toning to spine and edges and trivial edge wear. A near-winner of the 1977 Pulitzer Prize--it was recommended by the Pulitzer's fiction jury, but overridden by the Pulitzer Prize Board which holds more authority, and ultimately no award for literature was given that year.
