One of the earliest firsthand reports of the Holocaust (and in particular the Warsaw ghetto tragedy) to be published in the United States. It was written by a teenager, Miriam Wattenberg, in shorthand. The author never sought publicity for her work. Over the years it has gained recognition as one of the most lucid, important accounts of the European Jewish experience during WWII. Item #140939477
