Volume I is signed by Julia Child and Simone Beck on the first blank sheet, and Volume II is signed by Julia Child on the half-title page and inscribed to a former owner. Bound in publisher's white Fleur-de-lis patterned cloth. Both volumes are near fine, with light rubbing to bottom corner of textblock edge, water droplets to topstains; in Very Good un-clipped dust jackets. Volume I dust jacket is spine toned with a small scrape, repaired at the verso with archival mending tissue. Light rubbing at the extremities, toning to edges and light staining to front flap. The dust jacket of Volume II is lightly edge worn, lightly toned and with a faint stain to the bottom right corner of the front panel. A lovely pair. Item #140939227
