21 artist's books, 16 of which are hand numbered by the artist. Staplebound wraps. Near Fine overall with light wear, staples a bit oxidized. These photocopied 'zines trace the LA music scene from its early hardcore days to the indie rock era of the '90s that labels like SST helped establish. All are from the collection of Steven Abrams, a friend of the artist. In addition being a self-taught artist whose drawings and artist's books are now represented in museums around the world, Pettibon was also the bassist for legendary punk band Black Flag. He designed their iconic black bar logo as well.
