Very Good with rubbed edges, slightly stained and darkened cloth, small ding to spine, corners bumped, hinges starting, a little foxing to prelims.

A landmark archaeology work of the 19th century, in which the author (a friend and neighbor of Charles Darwin who helped edit Origin of Species) introduced the terms and concepts of the Neolithic and Paleolithic Ages, as distinguished from the Stone Age.
