One of the high spots of political cynicism in the Watergate era was this long out-of-print memoir by former Los Angeles Police Department informant Louis Tackwood. He outlined a career of infiltrating and setting up the Black Panthers and other leftists as an agent provocateur, contradicting the rosier and more simplistic narratives of most other contemporary radical authors. Among the CRIC members who worked with Tackwood on this book were author Donald Freed and renowned conspiracy radio host Mae Brussell. Item #140938214
