Single page letter from author (also signed) on his stationary, dated July,18, 1996, and business card loosely taped to front free endpaper. xvi, 496 pp. Orange cloth with black lettering. First edition, third printing. Very Good with light staining and mottling to cloth, foxing to edges, in a Good supplied correct issue dust jacket, spine-sunned and worn. Former owner's magnetic real estate calling card laid in. A much more personal inscription than usually found.

The former Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff under JFK wrote this cult classic expose of the CIA's influence. He would later become well-known as a critic of the official story of Kennedy's assassination, inspiring the character "Mr. X" (played by Donald Sutherland) in Oliver Stone's film JFK.
