A collection of recipes that stemming from a Ladies' Bible Class organized by the reverend's wife, Mrs. Peters. The class began in 1963 with just one member, and at its height swelled to 123. Peters cites "one of highlights of the class fellowship has been the times they shared their favorite recipes, bringing one delicious dish after another. They decided that writing down all these recipes and including a picture of the cook would be a wonderful memory for each to keep."

A keepsake that is part cookbook, part yearbook documenting the ladies that came together to study God's word at the Open Door Bible Church. Portraits were taken by Rev. H.H. Peters, and recipes were compiled by his daughter, Pat. A second volume was to be published in 1980. Rare. OCLC locates just one copy. Item #140938047
